Today is Halloween, or the Evening of all Saints. Usually kids go out to collect candy from unsuspecting home owners. This year, it will not be the case in New Jersey. The reason is that the streets after the passing of Hurricane Sandy are simply not safe. There are still a lot of down wires all over, parts of the state have no power and limbs are still in danger of falling down.

We are all glad that most of the people in the state are safe with only 6 fatalities thus far. Even though candy gathering will have to be postponed, the important things is to remain safe what it promises to be a couple of tough weeks.
