Cleaning my Home Office (for real)

Ok, this time was for real. I am cleaning the home office. I put a couple of items into the electronic recycling bin, the one that hurt the most was a Kinesis Ergonomic keyboard. That one hurt, but it was in its last strides. I had it for over 15 years now, the backspace was faulty and then the top line where the functions and escape keys are located gave up and sank. Although I could remap the whole keyboard, I decided that it was time to say adios and start saving for a new one. The other items were old modems and cables for AT style motherboards that were left behind from the last cleanup. They will be sent to the county recycling center for reuse.

Getting warmer

According to the National Weather Service the weather in NJ is getting warmer. We expect to be in the 80F/26C by mid week. This prompted the discussion on where and what to do for holidays. One thing that I need to do is to take time to take care of home repairs. However, We want to do something fun as well. We are not sure on what to do though.

One of the feral cats got hit

One of the feral cats which we nicknamed Mama seems that was hit a couple of days ago. It show up with a bad limp on the rear right leg. By looking at the fur pattern, it seems that she got hit broadside on the right-rear leg. She has been behaving jittery but at least she started showing up for a meal and moving a bit better. If she's smart, she should stick around, but being a feral cat, it'll do what it wants to do and that's it.
